Wright Memorial Public Library is pleased to present poet and Oakwood resident Betsy Hughes, reading from her new collection of sonnets, Breaking Weather. Winner of the National Federation of State Poetry Societies 2013 Stevens Poetry Manuscript Competition, Hughes’ poems contemplate the seasons, emotion, art and death. The program will take place in the Library meeting room, Saturday November 8th at 2:00 p.m. Books will be available for purchase with a signing to follow.
