On Sunday, January 27th at 2 p.m. local author Joanne Yeck will discuss her most recent book, The Jefferson Brothers.  In The Jefferson Brothers Joanne Yeck introduces Randolph Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson's only brother, and brings him out from the shadow of his famous sibling, focusing on the years during which their paths crossed.

Third Tuesday of each month 7-9pm @ Starbucks in Oakwood

An open writing group for local poets who want to share their work and hone their craft.  Join us monthly to improve your writing, meet new friends , and enjoy poetry!  All poets welcome.  Please bring an original poem to share and extra copies to pass around.

On Saturday, January 26th at 2 p.m. the Wright Library Poets will read from their works.  Open mic will follow for anyone interested in sharing an original or favorite poem.
