September 18th is Read an eBook Day. The Library has Kindles available for checkout beginning September 18. You can request the book you want to read on our Kindles.  Just call or use our online form to tell us what you want. A Kindle will then be placed on hold for you.  You can also reserve a Kindle through our catalog or by calling the library.

Share your reading stories at the Read an eBook Day website and see what others are saying.  And remember you can download ebooks for free from the Library's digital services - the Ohio Digital Library and Freading.

Walking Tour of Schantz Park Historic District

Come by the Oakwood Historical Society's Walking Tour of
Schantz Park Historic District today from 11:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. for this event. This unique self-guided walking tour celebrates the 100th anniversary of Oakwood’s first subdivision and only National Register Historic District. Welcoming Stations will be located at 201 E. Schantz Aveune.The Library will be there to show you how to research your house's history. Dayton History will also be there to answer questions.
