Virtual Storytime with Miss Jacqui

Storytime: Helping Kids Understand Why People are Wearing Masks

During the April 7 edition of Terrific Tales, Wright Library's Karen Mills talks directly to children ages 3, 4, and 5 years old about why they may see neighbors, family members, and others in their community wearing masks.

In the video, Mrs. Mills begins talking about masks at the 53 second mark, answering questions children may have such as:

Is this mask a costume?

Can a person still talk when they have a mask on?

Update April 4, 2020

Dear Friends and Patrons,

In accordance with Gov. Mike DeWine's extended stay at home order, Wright Memorial Public Library will remain closed until local and state officials let us know it is safe to reopen.

While the building is closed, library staff are continuing to provide many services to the community:

Using Hoopla Without a Library Card: Discontinued

In response to pandemic-related library closures in March 2020, Hoopla temporarily offered libraries the option to provide community-wide access to its online digital service on a limited basis. Even without a library card, users could enjoy 2 free check outs of any title - movies, tv shows, music, comics, ebooks, and audiobooks.

Hoopla access without a library card has since been discontinued.
