Celebrate National Novel Writing Month by trying to write your own novel! Your goal is to write a 50,000 word rough draft during the 30 days of November - that's about 1650 words or 6-7 pages per day. Need some encouragement? Come Write In to Wright Library 6:30pm-8:30pm every Friday night in November to mingle with other NaNoWriMos and get in some serious writing. Snacks provided or bring your own.
Join other teens who are interested in writing fiction and poetry to discuss writing, do some writing, and constructively and kindly critique each other’s work. For grades 7-12.
Join other teens on for a different activity every week! Grades 7-12.

This new book group, designed by a committee of OHS students, will meet each month from 6:30-8:30 to talk about issues related to povertyLGBTQ, human trafficking, discrimination, and other topics. Share fiction and nonfiction you’ve read on the topic, or just come to learn how you can make a difference. Book lists will be available at the library and on the library’s website a month before each meeting time.
