MJ Werthman White is an Ohio poet and fiction writer. Her work has appeared in The Dayton Daily News and The Yellow Springs News, as well as in local and national journals and on public radio station WYSO. MJ's poetry collection, How the Universe Says Yes to Me, was published in 2017. Her debut novel, An Invitation to the Party, came out in July just in time for her eighty-first birthday. She is retired from Yellow Springs Schools and lives in Xenia, Ohio with her husband and the good dog, Zaza.
