About Tech Tutoring

Drop-in sessions every Wednesday, 10 AM - 1 PM

Librarians are available during drop-in hours to work one-on-one to help solve your tech issues. We specialize in library resources but can help with other general computer/tech questions too. First-come, first-served.

Can't make our drop-in times? Stop by the Research Desk any time or call to book a sit-down appointment that will meet your schedule.

What does it cover?

There is no set curriculum. Come with a problem or a task you'd like to learn and we will work through it together.

A Tech Tutor session can help you:

  • set up a new device
  • learn a computer program
  • find useful apps
  • build comfort using your smart phone, laptop, or tablet

Request a Guided Orientation of the library's Memory Digitization Lab equipment.

What to Bring

What you will need depends on what you want to learn. You can use your own device or use a library computer.

Either way, make sure to bring any account passwords such as your email password or AppleID if you need help with apps on an iPhone.
