New Stained Glass Artwork
Wright Library is proud to debut its newest piece of stained glass. Created by Oakwood artist Janet Strauss, the window was installed this week in the Library's north reading room.
Strauss brings a fresh approach to this classic medium which has been part of Dayton's art history and is preserved in many of the city's Victorian buildings. Strauss' work has been shown locally at the Rutledge Gallery as well as in galleries in California, Virginia, and Washington.
Thank you to the donors to the Wright Memorial Public Library Foundation, whose generous support made this permanent art installation possible.
