Join the Oakwood Historical Society and Wright Library for a presentation by Tom Morrow on the growth of Oakwood. Oakwood grew bit by bit over 70 years with houses springing up in plats / neighborhoods. We'll walk through how Oakwood's footprint grew over this period, evolving from Settlement to Village and later City. Oakwood residents wil]ll be interested to learn when their neighborhood or group of houses was planned and then built. The hour long presentation will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
Presenter: Tom Morrow is a professional engineer, a 34-year resident of Oakwood, a member of the Dayton Railway Historical Society, and on the board of Oakwood Historical Society.
