Join Wright Library and people around the world to focus on possibilities for Peace. On September 21st, The International Day of Peace, we will put together a community puzzle, highlight Dayton Literary Peace Prize books, and invite visitors to post love notes to a country or part of the world they hold dear. Add a heart sticker to our world map, then write a good wish, prayer, memory, etc. for a country of origin, beloved city, war ravaged land, home of family or friends, or someplace else on your mind.
The International Day of Peace is observed around the world each year on September 21st.
