NASA Solar System Ambassador, Kurtz Miller, returns after his successful program last summer on the Great American Eclipse. This session will explore the summer skies focused upon several of the most prominent constellations and visible planets. The presentation will also detail current scientific understandings of the solar system based upon historic NASA unmanned space exploration. The Eta Aquarids meteor shower, which peaks on Sunday 6 May 2018, will also be highlighted. There will be opportunities for all attendees to interact, share, and think with each other and the presenter. You'll also be able to make your own planisphere. Children are encouraged to attend.
