All ages are invited to paint and decorate pumpkins inspired by your favorite book and character scenes. Pumpkins will be displayed in the library and all patrons are invited to vote on their favorite in four categories: Preschool, Elementary, Teen, & Adult. Book prizes will be awarded on October 27 for the pumpkin that receives the most votes in each category. 30 pumpkins will be provided on a first come, first served basis; one per family. Families may provide their own pumpkin to be entered into the contest. Carved pumpkins will NOT be accepted as they are prone to rot & bugs. All pumpkins must be picked up by 9:00 p.m on Wednesday, November 1. Pumpkins that are not picked up by this time will be disposed of.
