Bring a blanket and the kids for this outdoor concert in Katharine Wright Park outside the library's back entrance!
If the weather is uncooperative, the concert will be held indoors in the new Community Room on the library's Main Level (upper floor).
About the musicians
Blue Heron Trio is a Dayton, Ohio-based jazz/cocktail band which consists of a female vocalist/bassist/percussionist (Elisha Frontz), a tenor saxophonist/guitar player (Phil Myers), and a pianist/keyboardist (Dave Santucci). The trio have been playing jazz classics, contemporary hits that they've transformed into jazz or lounge tunes, and original songs since 2011.
Blue Heron Trio has performed at such great places as the Cincinnati Music Hall, the Dayton Art Institute, the Schuster Center for Performing Arts, and Fraze Pavilion, and can be seen throughout the tristate area at weddings, corporate and private parties, events and festivals, and in lounges.
