Slavery in America officially ended with the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, but our country is still dealing with its ongoing aftermath today. Join us for a conversation about why it’s so hard to move beyond our racist history, and what it will take for the United States to become a place of justice for all people.
Talking about racism can feel uncomfortable, but not talking about it allows injustice to continue. Join Wright Library and SURJ - Ohio (Showing Up for Racial Justice) for ongoing conversations about understanding and addressing racism in America. Everyone is welcome.
