Join local author Christina Consolino as she gives a behind-the-scenes look at her second novel, The Weight We Carry, which showcases the toll that navigating parents' health crises can have on a family. Consolino was inspired by experiences with her own parents. She'll talk about the events leading up to her mother's Alzheimer's diagnosis, and what she learned about the different types of dementia, signs and symptoms of dementia, and how to cope when a loved one is given a terminal diagnosis.
