Choose To Read Ohio

Choose To Read Ohio (CTRO) spotlights Ohio authors and illustrators, and promotes reading across Ohio. Each CTRO booklist highlights representative books, for readers of all ages, by exciting, talented creators who, collectively, write across genres, explore a wide array of topics, and appeal to all age groups. 

Readers' guides ("CTRO toolkits") are available for all CTRO books from current and past program cycles 2009-2025. 

The 2025 CTRO booklist features 20 notable titles by Ohio authors and illustrators.
