To protect patron privacy, all patrons must provide any one of the following in order to check out items, make changes to a library account, or get information about items on their account.
- Your physical library card
- Your library card barcode number and account PIN
- Valid photo ID
If you wish to have another person pick up your library materials, you may lend them your card, but you are responsible for fines and fees incurred on it.
DESIGNATED BORROWERS
Alternatively, you may name a Designated Borrower. You can name a Designated Borrower by visiting the Check-Out Desk in person, by presenting your library card and identification, naming the Designated Borrower being added to your account. Your Designated Borrower's name will then be entered into your patron record granting them the ability to check out items for you with proper identification.
You may have more than one designated borrower.
Any Oakwood resident who is permanently or temporarily unable to visit the library may participate in the Homebound Delivery Service, Wright to Your Home
