Nature's Best HopeJoin in the Community Read, April 1-30, 2021

Renowned entomologist and ecologist Douglas Tallamy is teaming up with Wright Library for a community read and initiative to support the Miami Valley ecosystem. Tallamy’s book Nature’s Best Hope and his Homegrown National Park movement offer a hopeful and achievable plan for urban and suburban dwellers to help save the planet.


4  ways to be involved in the WMPL Community Read:

  1. Read Tallamy’s exploration of biodiversity, native plants, sustainable living, and the flourishing future he envisions.
  2. Join virtual conversations and other events throughout the month to learn and discuss the ideas found in the book.
  3. Attend Douglas Tallamy's virtual visit on April 29th where he'll present his ideas and answer questions.
