Parents, Please Note...
Wright Library allows all patrons, regardless of age, to borrow materials from all areas of the library's collection. The staff does not monitor or judge the materials selection of any borrower. Parents are strongly encouraged to accompany their children to the library to help them slect appropriate materials. It is the parents' right and responsibility to monitor their child's library use.
Account Privacy & Designated Borrowers
Library Records are protected by state law
To protect patron privacy, all patrons must provide any one of the following in order to check out items, get information about items on their account, or make changes to a library account*.
Fines and Fees
"Fast Read" books: $0.50 per day per item overdue
Console games: $0.50 per day per item overdue
Interlibrary Loan items: $0.50 per day per item overdue
Doorway to Dayton Museum Passes: $1 per day per item overdue
Most Library of Things items (other than learning backpacks): $1 per day per item overdue
If you owe $10.00 or more, you may not check out more items until your account is paid down below $10.
Have items delivered "Wright to your Home"
Any Oakwood resident who is permanently or temporarily unable to visit the library may participate in the homebound delivery service, Wright to Your Home. Wright Library is extending this service to any Oakwood resident who is at higher risk due to the coronavirus pandemic, who lives with someone at hi
